Haíɫcístut Implementation

What is Haíɫcístut Implementation department is responsible for?

Implementing benchmarks, objectives and milestones outlined in related agreements signed with Canada and British Columbia. To date, agreements have been signed with both orders of government that provides $65 Million dollars across 55 unique projects.

These Houseposts have corresponding Housepost Managers, which are responsible for:

a.    Developing work plans and budgets alongside the Implementation Manager – using Benchmarks as guide – to implement the related agreements. This includes liaising with department managers from time to time.
These agreements also include 3 major infrastructure projects, which are 
a.    Governance and administration building
b.    Language Building 
c.    Elders Long Term Care Facility

The Haíɫcístut Implementation Team is guided by the Houseposts, benchmarks, objectives and milestones outlined in the agreements with Canada and British Columbia. To ensure this is done effectively and with good guidance, the following oversight mechanisms have been put in place:
